Kern County Unknown (KCU) is setting out to explore some of Kern County’s most fascinating true crime and paranormal events that have occurred over the county’s history. Using a team of local filmmakers, actors, and researchers we will interview those who were involved in Kern County's most infamous cases and occurrences. We are a one-of-a-kind docuseries for a new local entertainment offering to display for the Bakersfield community and surrounding areas. KCU will be done in a respectful, fact-based style of filmmaking for those who want to take a peek and look behind the curtain of Kern County’s dark, strange, and mysterious past.
